Info : The Austrian death metal band Disastrous Murmur was formed in 1988 after Harald Bezdek left Disharmonic Orchestral.
The following year their first demo tape was recorded. Line-up changes followed and shows in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, Switzerland and Austria in 1990.
In 1991 they signed a deal with the French label Osmose Productions and in 1992 their debut album was released.
After a new album and some German concerts the band decided to split up in 1994.
In 1998 original drummer Manfred Perack started playing together with a couple of other musicians and they decided to reform Disastrous Murmur.
RHAPSODIES IN RED features 10 tracks of pure Austrian old school Death metal.
